While I think everyone who reloads can benefit from using a chronograph, your advice is not only wrong, but potentially dangerous. Loading to a certain velocity goal, rather than published loads and/or pressure signs, can be very dangerous, especially with cast bullets where case capacity can be drastically different from one design to the next for the same bullet weight.

I load the same bullet powder coated with 3 gr of bullseye and get around 900 fps out of a 10 in 9mm AR. I have since cut the barrel down and have not yet tested to see if I need to up the charge to get the speed up some.
Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in

The C.U.P. switch must be hidden on my chronograph?
Re: 158g 9mm
I found that at 2.5g of titegroup, the bullet was being boosted by the suppressor. Bumped up to 2.8. next time I go to the range I'll chronograph Them.
