yep, it is. no point in going the long route and changing every bullet when can change the mags once and done. i guess everyone needs something to do though.

aguila327 wrote:Is this really necessary. Seems like a lot of work just to use P-mags. I've been problem free using GI and Lancer mags. Although I'll adit that I have not run subs through my rifle. I'm strictly a super shooter.

I'll give the OP his props for thinking outside the box.
It is not really "necessary" but why not do it if they go into production the only thing the consumer has to do is buy, load, shoot. So if someone comes up with a new design that works why not buy it? Look and the Lehigh Defense stuff it is way over engineered but I still want some. So in the long run if it works it is not sweat off of the consumers back, but it will add that much more to the shooting community.

If you're going to make this boolit, please find a way to HP them. Subsonic flat/round nose cast boolits have a stupidly bad reputation to "straight pass through".

I invented this a while ago and Remington filed a patent in 2013 which is still making its away through the USPTO. If someone is a bullet maker and wants to make them or molds for them, I can see if Remington wants to license it.

I don't see any reason they would not work, I think the only possible down side would be you (the loader) will be bound to a specific seating depth.
