Well, I think NOE only does brass and aluminum. I prefer aluminum due to the light weight. Both types can cast nice bullets.

A video showing the process from lead pot to steel target, making the coated subsonic plinkers in the 300 blk AR15's.
I didn't get much of a chance to do grouping on paper due to the fact that it was New Years and there were quite a bit of people shooting out there. I didn't want to be the guy who was constantly calling cease fire and running out and back in the snow. I know some people are going to be asking for groups on paper, but for now, it's accurate enough for my purposes, and it makes a fun heavy plinking bullet. I will try to do some paper groups in the future when it is just me and another buddy.

Can't wait until I have mine. I really like the feel of subs, but not the performance of the heavy mold I have.

Looking at getting these two molds. Did you ever get any load data on the grooveless bullet? Accuracy?

Thanks!

Taco,

Any more to add here?

The bullets do look real good! I have been sidelined with some 155lees and some smoothies sent to be to test. 155g for all.

I think he'll be slow to answer. I've chatted with him elsewhere and his work has him very busy lately.
