How well do these bullets feed in an AR?

Also, any load data for these in 8" barrels on the forum? I haven't purchased a barrel yet but if an 8"AR barrel is available that would work well with these I'd pick up a k or two.

Good luck with you business.

If they are going to be a coated bullet, why the lube groves? Would help make them shorter.

The bullets shoot great out of our test guns (AR's) with a COL of 2.12". Pmags may need to be modified a bit (ribs). Load data similar to 220 SMK loads work well.

As far as the lube grooves. The transition to smooth sided bullets / molds is relatively new. This mold design was designed by one of this forums members (Dolomite), and functions great as is. The amount of length gained or lost over the modification of the lube grooves would be minimal.

The new mid-weight bullet will likely be smooth. We are still working out some details.

Thanks for your interest!

I believe Dolomite has had a lot of success with these, I'd be interested in a case of them.

Randy, there are videos on YouTube with these (and similar) heavy casts going 24" straight through ballistic gel. (And I do mean STRAIGHT)

I know people are drilling hollow points and claim mushrooming with them but I haven't seen ballistic gel tests yet.

I will be keeping a list (postin and updating soon) of the folks that are interested. Once we have enough interest, I will move forward. I would like to get this rolling before our next lead order near the mid-end of this month.
I appreciate the interest.
Thank you all!
