We don't plan on offering anything but 1-8" right now but with supersonic loads the 1-11/12 would likely shoot pretty well.I see you offer 11 and 12 twist barrels for the 7.62x40 WT, but everything in the Blackout is 7 or 8 twist. Would it be possible to get a Blk chambered barrel in 11 or 12 twist? I never knew about the WT, but since I'm knee-deep into the Blackout stuff I hate to add another bunch of brass, dies, etc.
11 or 12 twist BLK barrel?

11 or 12 twist BLK barrel?
Re: 11 or 12 twist BLK barrel?
What's wrong with an 8 twist. It sure is a lot better than a 11 or 12 at these lower speeds the BLK has.
Even a 7 IMHO is better than an 8
150 gr in a 30-06 = 3000 fps 1:10 = 3600RPS
150 gr in a 308 = 2800 fps 1:12 = 2800 RPS
150 gr in a 308 = 2800 fps 1:11.25 = 2987 RPS
150 gr in BLK = 2000 fps 1:8 = 3000 RPS
150 gr in BLK = 2000 fps 1:7 = 3428 RPS (still less than a 30-06)
150 gr in a BLK =2000 fps 1:12 = 2000 RPS way to slow IMHO
a 150 BLK in 1:12 is about 1/2 the RPM of a 150 gr in a 30-06 in a 1:10
This is with a 16" barrel in the BLK and a 20+" in the 308/30-06
A SBR would be even more in need of the faster twist.

Long distance, the next best thing to being there!
