Remmy trigger location question

Post by Badfinger »

I just purchased a new Remington SPS Tactical .308 and noticed the trigger is way off to the left side of the guard. ( see pic) I removed the stock, inspected it, wiped it out and reinstalled with no change. I guess it could be:

1. The "Gumby" rubber stock is warped, no biggy I'm pitching anyway.

2. The pillars are off location, same as above.

3. The trigger pin holes in the action are off location, CRAP :x

Your thoughts please?
UPDATE
Well, I answered my own question. I kept looking and removing the CRAP stock and discovered you can simply push it in either direction or center it and tighten it back down. I've seen better stocks on BB guns!

I have had one with the 16.5" bbl for some time now. I tossed that POS stock in favor of a B&C stock before I shot it for the first time.
Remington should be ashamed of themselves for putting that crap on an otherwise accurate gun. I worked on the trigger and is now 3lbs 4ozs with no creep and a minute amount of overtravel. I was not about to send it back in for the factory to frig my gun up even further.
This gun will quite easily shoot <3/4 inch with several different loads and bullets, both heavy and light. --- pruhdlr
Why just dance when you can "rock and roll".
