I'm thinking of buying a 1x7 twist CMMG 16" barrel and I'm wondering which gas system to get. My old barrel is a 1x8 carbine length that has run well with most ammo. I don't remember what the gas port is but I seem to recall it is pretty big.

Anyway I wanted to check and see if they've made any changes other than the twist rate.

To clarify, the Range Rover had an old school system that mixed the gas near the throttle bodies
