Pistol-gassed CMMG's are in stock at Midway, albeit in 16".

I have one en route as we speak, with plans for cutting it down to 10 inches and rethreading.

BMP, thanks for the link. I've been pondering what size the gas port ought to be, that takes some of the guess work out of it.

No problem, glad I could help! Good things are happening everywhere for this caliber! I got my 16" pistol gas barrel coming from Midway as well! Got the ping yesterday and just about fell over. Thought they were going to be on backorder till the middle of next month! Did you take advantage of the $20.00 off $200? Ended up being a pretty good buy in my eyes. I'm going to modify a gas block so I can run some supers on occasion in my rig. Can't wait to get this thing rolling! BTW I wish we could legally own SBR's in Iowa! You are lucky SpaceWrangler!

We should have a 12.5" multi-role(i.e. can be set up with a carbine or mid fsb with the pistol gas) barrel and a 8.5" here in the next couple of months.

That's cool.

Any chance of changing over to a 1x7" twist?

Glad to hear. I might have to convert my 7.5" .223 pistol to blackout as well!

Any news on some short uppers? I've seen the 8.5 inch pistols being sold by cdnn... But no uppers anywhere.
