AAC has been taken out of the firearm business by it's corporate parent and is concentrating on silencers. (At least that is my understanding based on previous topics here and industry articles.)

I believe it's just a website problem.

Just spoke to a sales rep at AAC and was told that they should have 9" uppers available in about month/month and 1/2. They are back on the website but still marked as "out of stock". They moved, new machines, etc. etc. etc. I have a form 1 in and that should just about match up for stamp and upper.

I asked a similar question a few months ago as I am in the market for a 2nd 9" AAC Upper.

I was similarly told that they have moved to a new facility and needed to re-start production as they have been out of stock on the 9" upper for quite a while now.

What I know for sure is that the first thousand of these that they make are going to sell for way over list price from anyone but them. I think I'll wait just a bit before buying one when they get back on the scene.

List? Are you talking about retail?

Why do people pay retail or above retail? I guess there are always those who will say, "because I want it!"
Maybe next year AAC will put a BCM or KAC URX4 and you will have a lighter upper and it will be worth the wait.

Is anyone ever going to get this thing back in stock? I've been waiting on midway forever. Has anyone seen one?

Grabagun has the 9" pistol MPW in stock. Buy that and sell off the pistol lower if you don't want it.

I saw the 9-inch upper in one of my local stores. The price was somewhere between $800-900. You might be able to call them to see if it is still in stock, if they will ship it, and how much it would cost.
