AAC 762-SD question

I have a 762-SD at my local shop waiting for the paperwork and . . . waiting . . . and waiting. My plans are to use it on my AAC 300 16" upper. Since I'm going crazy waiting, I started looking at a Noveske 5.56 upper with a switchblock. I found a good deal on one, it has a standard bird cage on it now, but what 51t flash hider do I need to get to run the 762-SD can on both uppers? Are the QD flash hiders the same outers for both barrels? It looks like the 5.56 has a different thread pitch. 300 AAC Blackout 9/16-28, and the 5.56 1/2 - 28 threads.

Thanks

The external dimensions on the mounts are the same, so just get the mounts that are threaded for your hosts.

Get a 51 tooth 1/2-28 for the 5.56. The exterior is the same for all the 51 tooth mounts. The SD will mount to it.
