Man those are some nice looking guns. I am filing the paperwork for the stamp here next week on a YHM 7.62 QD. Sounds like everyone likes them. Has anyone ran one on a .308 by any chance? Now that YHM is making the brake for this in 7.62 I am going to swap out the brake on my .308 bolt gun for the 7.62 QD and see how it sounds with a can. I am planning on running this for everything that I can, including 6.5mm and .223, has anyone ran the Phantom on any of these calibers? Is the wait really running 6 months?

I bought my YHM 7.62 Phantom primarily for a 308 bolt gun before getting into the 300 BLK. I got some 175 gr subsonic rounds from Southwest Ammunition and WOW! Super quiet! Pellet gun quiet!
I've also run it on my 300 BLK, both supers and subs. It is a great suppressor IMO, especially for the $$$. I've run some 556/223 through it and while it killed the BANG, the supersonic rounds still make quite a loud crack.
I've only tried the factory subs for the 300 BLK, and am looking to get some 208 AMAX loaded and tried out.
The 7.62 Phantom is my first magnum rifle suppressor, and while I'm sure there are better out there, for the $$$, I couldn't happier!

I've used it on my .308 and it was quieter than I expected. I've found that I only shoot what uses the Phantom these days

That is good to hear. I am a little concerned about putting a can on my .308, but from what I have been reading it won't affect the grouping, just the POI. If I could use just the one can for all my rifles with good results that would be awesome.
Hey drillersgodeeper, I see you have a 260, have you ever ran a can on that? My next build will be a bolt 260 so I can really reach out and touch some paper, and I have the option of getting a threaded barrel. I wasn't really planning on suppressing it, but if I already have the can, why not.

I did run my 16" Grendel with my friend's 762 SS and it suppressed very well. I currently have 2 762x39 uppers and 1 Noveske 300blk upper with the 762 Titanium and it suppresses both very well. My Noveske with 180gr GUNN subs is REALLY fun to shoot outdoors because I can hear the brass hit the concrete

Got my YHM QD 7.62 Phantom on a Thursday. Shot it in the back yard Thursday evening with my .308 Win subsonic and my 300 Blackout. Tickled to death how quiet it is with my handloads. Friday afternoon I got my first suppressed kill. Deer literally fell dead in it's tracks.

I had mine out again this weekend and have to say that it makes me very happy every time I shoot with it! Shooting the 300 BLK with subs is ridiculously quiet, on par with a gas powered airsoft. Here are a couple new pics I took over the weekend:

Here is mine!

This is my .223 with the same 7.62 Phantom QD
And my Ruger Gunsite Scout .308 with the 7.62 Phantom QD
I'm finding it hard to go to work.... would rather be @ the range or now soon to be hunting!
