Re: Pistol or Rifle suppressor for 300BLK?
The exact reason I bought a Harvester. I sent SilencerCo an email asking for more clarification on the .300blk and the Harvester (barrel lengths and supers).0uTkAsT wrote:Can you shoot supers through the MysticX? According to their website it is only rated for the following: .22 LR, 9mm, .357 Mag, 7.62 x39 (subsonic), .300BLK (subsonic), 9×25 Dillon, .38 Special... that doesn't mean you can't shoot hotter stuff through it, but it does mean they might not warranty it (unless I'm missing something here).doubleshot00 wrote:The MysticX is the only pistol can you can shoot supers through and 5.56. But the Harvester us a fine choice.
EDIT: Disregard, I was misinformed it seems. They have an updated list on their website. I already purchased a Harvester but now I'm almost wishing I had gotten the MysticX... although I do plan to use the Harvester on a .308 and Liberty lists the .308 as "subsonic only".
If its a no go with the supers on a SBR then I'll just use my Saker.

So the Saker is rated for full auto 308 and will handle 300 BO in super or subsonic?
Does anyone else have a comparable package for comparison? Surefire?
Mind you I am not worried about performance in the quiet realm since all cans work well for my needs from that standpoint.

On my 10" 300BLK I went with the Seekins MCSR V2 over a TBAC 30BAS can.jwise wrote:My build has a 8.5" barrel under a Troy rail, that has an inside diameter large enough for a pistol can (1.40"), but not most rifle cans (1.5").
