I might just have to get an x-caliber.

I would bet that a aluminum sleeved barrel would do a better job on cooling and could match or beat the weight at a lower cost. Something like JP's thermal dissiaptor but as a permanent install

Big difference when a power factor is a factor.

It is rare these days to find a 3-gun match that recognizes power factor. Most everything thing now is time plus.

And Daniel isn't buying his ammo...

I have an x caliber barrel, not in a 300 but a 6 x45. A true piece of craftsmanship. Well made and unbelievably precise.

I'm glad to see good things about them from Rebel and Dellet, I have been thinking about using X caliber for a couple builds
Too many ideas floating around in my head

Has anyone tried the faxon 16" barrel with the carbine length gas and enlarged port?

I'm looking to put a gun together specifically for 3 gun, but I would like it to run the full range of ammo from subs to supers. I probably don't need the very best precision on the market, but I don't want POI shift as it warms up during a volume shooting stage.
