Trust documents to include with efile

Post by dpete »

I have my trust completed and ready to include with my efile for a form 1 suppressor and have a few questions on what pages to include in the pdf I send.

The documents I have ready to scan are:
The full 9 page Trust Document signed and notarized.
The Certification of Trust signed and notarized.
Appointment of Co-trustees signed by me as Trustor and Trustee.
Acceptance of Appointment signed by the Co-trustees.
Schedule A: Initial Trust Funding. The Schedule A only lists the amount used.

Do I need anything else included?

I don't send their certification of trust. My schedule and beneficiaries aren't referenced in the trust so I don't send them.

Nothing wrong with sending everything, though...

my trust was approved with the following

the main portion of the trust - which includes the notorized/signed pages of the people involved in forming the trust
the schedule a which holds a list of items the trust owns
the schedule b which holds the list of the trust members (beneficiary's and trustee's)

i have never submitted a certification of trust or any other documents.

one thing to note - if your trust footers include page numbers that extend into your schedule A & B the footers on a&b may have to match those that go along with the trust. when i form 4'ed my sparrow, my initial sending the trust had pages 1 of 15 to 13 of 15 (my trust body) and the schedules A&B (since they're a seperate editable document) showed pages 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. the atf refused to accept them as such. Once i corrected the footers to reflect 14 of 15 and 15 of 15 respectively, it was then accepted. Had my trust been footered 1 of 13 to 13 of 13, they likely would have accepted the schedule a&b as 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 but i cant confirm or deny that.
