Havin a blast, brother...the little lady couldn't quite hang with my MARSOC buddies (ready for the flaming, due to recent run-ins with the wannabees on this site...lol)...it rained most of the day, and we couldn't care less...wild times, and more to come tomorrow.

I filed mine lastnight same way as you which is what all the tutorials said. I did notice though that they had "300 AAC Blackout" as a dropdown choice, but I went 300 instead..

What choice did you use for UNIT OF MEASUREMENT? as in mm - caliber ?? It was the question after 300.

Don't worry Chedr,
Several folks on here and others I know we're approved and gave the total length of the rifle with the stock in the closest position, not the furthest.
Additionally, the longest measurement is not exact as you cant assemble lower and upper before you get the stamp as it's considered "constructive intent" or so I'm told.

Anyone with half a brain knows a house full of legal AR pistols and rifles could by definition alone be considered constructive intent.

FWIW, I also watched a tutorial that recommended 300 as the caliber so that's what I used.

For the full length I just measured my 16" rifle and subtracted 7" because I'm using a 9' barrel.

Seemed like the way to do it.

Guns are tools designed for dirty work both competitive and defensive. If I meet someone with a well worn gun, I hope their barrel is pointed the same direction as mine if the lead starts flying...

+1 for 7.62. Covers 7.62x35, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, etc.
