Will you be using a suppressor with your build?

Will it screw on without any mods? Nothing will change with the blow back system, correct? I told a friend about my build, which is similar to yours, and he said I'd need a fixed barrel spacer for the suppressor.

Isn't that only needed when you use a DI setup?

The 9mm build is blowback, not direct impingement (DI). The direct thread replaces the Nielsen device because if you leave the Nielsen device on a gun that is not a pistol it may damage the suppressor. The Nielsen device is needed for most pistols to temporarily remove the weight of the suppressor from the end of the barrel so the gun will cycle. If not then the weight of the suppressor will prevent the barrel from tilting and unlocking. Because the barrel of an AR does not tilt there is no need to use a Nielsen device.

BTW, there are a few pistols who do not need a Nielsen device because their barrels do not tilt when they unlock. The most common is the Berretta 92 and clones.

I love the Qcircle10 products!

So far your build is eerily similiar to mine; main difference being I went with the glock lower instead of the colt. Vltur upper, 5.5 Qcircle10 barrel, jp spring, kns pin set, JP bolt...

I used the odinworks rail though

Anyways, good luck, this will be a great little gun for you! Hopefully you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
