I admit I don't know anything about what sets the Vltor apart from others, so why did you choose it over any other upper receiver that is 1/3 the price?

One, the lower was actually designed around the VLTOR MUR 1 profile.

Two, no forward assist.

Three, the company that produces the lower, named the upper as working without an issue.

Four, unofficial rule #4 (wow factor) - I don't like ugly guns. 8)

Nice list so far! I wonder how that lower would work with the new x-products side charging upper.

LWRCI Compact Stock

Well, I broke my rules on this one. Only because it was in the unofficial Rule #4 category, looks/wow factor. Really wanted this stock because of how short it was and it had to be compatible with the buffer spring I ordered (coming later today). :x

I think this falls under Rule #4 - "wow/cool factor"
