???????????????????????? Today is the 16th so how is last week the week of the 15th? Who is "they" that signed for it? In the USA, when you buy a complete rifle, there is a 10% fee (included in the cost) that goes to the government. If you buy the upper and lower separate then the "fee" is not there.

I will edit my post. It was the week of the 15th in July 2016. "They" as in whoever signed for the mail. It was registered return receipt USPS. I purchased a lower from my dealer. Went back a couple of months later and purchased upper. Price the SBR and the same upper that was on the SBR. The sum total of the upper and lower was 200 bucks cheaper than a complete SBR. Of course it was cheaper from a dealer than paying full price from LMT. This was over a year ago. If my memory serves me right it was a still cheaper to order the upper and lower separately than a whole rifle from LMT. Go figure. Sorry, just got a little over excited and had to share with others. Also everyone else was efile trust. Mine is paper trust.

There is hope! My SBR form 1 approval arrived this morning!
Depending on how crazy the pre-41F rush was, you might be right about your estimate.
