Form 1 efile return times?

Post by shootertom »

I was just curious what some of you were getting for the turn around times.

I efiled for an SBR using a trust on October 28th and was hoping to be close, I called to check on the status today and she (Victoria) told me I would be looking at 6 months (yes months). Has something changed here or was I given bad information?

My experience is that you are being given very overly-conservative (bad) information. From what I've heard it seems like Form 1s are taking around 30 days if e-filed. Also, for example, I was told to expect my paper Form 4 for my suppressor in the March time frame - I picked it up today.

I got disapproved after a month wait, Refiled on 10/27, I called and Damion said 1 to 2 months. I figure they are off at least a bit of this week so that may slow them down.

Sounds like first or second week of December might be when I could expect it
