No, i bought a converted SL8-1 from Tommybuilt...it was a form 4
Okay, I read it as a conversion to an SBR, not a purchase of an SBR.

Holy Approval Batman!! Called while on the toilet this morning just for the heck of it and the lady said
Both my SBR and Omega are approved as of March 17th
Bought them both from Capitol Armory in Austin Tx on March 23 2017, pending from April 17, 2017
Cleared March 17th. Stamp in hand? Who knows, just glad it was something other then “pending”

Called ATF after 13 + months. Still waiting for paper. Check cashed Feb 17 17.

Well, thankfully not a 10 month wait, it ended up being 6 1/2 months.

Well, got a surprise call from the dealer this morning. I took the "wait 8 months and then we'll see" approach, but I never made it.

I got approved today after 14 months. It would have been 14 years if I hadnt asked about it. They "lost" the background check. Reminds me of those videos entitled, " you had only one job....."

Congrats man. Sorry it took so long. My 11mths felt like forever but I was resigned not to call until 1 year had passed. Thats not a good plan as your experience showed.
