Moving to new address with tax stamp guns

I have two tax stamps on two SBR guns done last year with a trust. I am moving to a new address about 10 miles out of town from my original address. Even though it is close (by Texas standards), it is another town, postal zip code, etc. Do I need to inform Atf of my new address change? If so, how.

A 5320.20 form.

But i've also read that you don't have to do a notification Unless you go to another state. So maybe best to have an attorney tell you the answer.

Edit: you should also amend your trust with new address, probably.

You have to notify them of an address change now even within the same zip code moving across the street. That's what ATF told me in no uncertain terms.

I still believe it's best to inform them in writing by snail mail

even though they have fax and email address on website

same with taking out of state for hunting, shooting ect

Whatever happened to constitutional rights? Every person at every level of law enforcement has sworn an oath to protect your rights. From this. So why don't they?

Not only would I send it snail mail, I would also certify it with return receipt requested so you get a notice that someone signed for it. Government agencies have a habit of losing paperwork and ignoring emails. I trust the government with nothing.

I have to ask, what is the penalty if you do not inform them of a change of address?

All life as you know it will cease to exist.

And some atf agent will be irritated if they are ever sent to your address asking to see copies of your paperwork when you don't answer the door because you don't live there anymore.

Then they'll have to track you down the hard way.

Through post office records of wherever you forwarded your mail to.
