ATF has reversed its position on the lawful use of the pistol brace
The time calls for dark men to do dark things.
Do not be afraid to lead them to it.

honestly, never cared anyways.
At some point I hope an adult will realize that arbitrary letters from random ATF agents does not make Law. But I realize that will require someone in government to act like an adult. So not holding my breath.

Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in

So much for my plan to mount a brace to my registered SBR and troll the range.

If I used public ranges, I would so do this.

FWIW,
The only reason SBR is part of the NFA is that they were looking to ban nearly all firearms.
Pistols were originally part of the NFA as well, but were removed at the last minute.
That being said, the NFA is illegal and needs to go away.
I doubt that would ever happen, but if it is ever going to happen, it needs to be in the next 3 1/2 years.
If you want an SBR, then just get an SBR.
The pro of the whole arm brace thing is that it gets more firearms that look like SBRs out there so they become more commonplace.
The con of it, is that it appearance is that tons of people are circumventing the NFA by way of the brace.
Seriously,
How many people are actually using a brace as intended?

When those totally ignorant of firearms make laws, you end up with totally ignorant firearm laws.

That's OK, they'll reverse this reversal next month.
You'll still have your chance to troll.
Nothing new for them.

Wait a minute, the gsg5 mock silencer is a suppressor.
If you don't like ATF's opinions, stop asking for it.
