Petition to Repeal the NFA

Post by A Boy Named Sue »

Not sure what good these 'We The People' things actually do, but it can't hurt. Spread the word.

they generate a response if they get enough petitions.

under an obama presidency the website was used as a propaganda gathering tool.

if they got a petition they agreed with that got the necessary signatures they would generally tout it as the people have spoken, and we listened!

when they got a petition on a sbuject they didnt agree with - they usually responded with "thank you for your opinions, however we feel you're all a bunch of dumbasses and this is why we disagree with you. you should think like we do.

or some such silly nonsense anyway

generally speaking it was an embarrassment

that is the big question mark right now - how exactly is the new admin going to handle the site.

Yea, I think you're right. Makes sense. I signed one a while back that would label 'Black Lives Matter' as a domestic terrorist group, sadly they sent pretty much that same message as you said, even though it got the 100,000 signatures needed within a few days. Then the leader was invited to the White House :|

I keep thinking there was a reason for Donald Trump jr's meeting with SilencerCo. Hopefully, this will be the push needed.

I signed. The NFA is a joke. Renewed my CHL license today. 3 hour wait for something that took 7-10 minuets. Including a new picture, background check and card printing. I'm on month 7 of my latest tax stamp. "DRAIN THE SWAMP DONALD"!
I read about Trump JR meeting with Silencer Co. I did get more excited than I should have. hehe

Eric Trump is supposedly pretty tight with the Silencerco guy (sorry, can't think of his name at the moment). Word is Donald's not a big gun guy, but the two eldest sons are. This is excellent from our position, as long as the legislation doesn't favor industry like the stupid GCA did.

We need to remove gov't protections for industry and let the free market work. If I want to help all my friends make cans, I should be able to. If I want to make them for sale, I shouldn't need a FFL either but that does look like how the HPA is worded. It's a minor setback if that's how it comes out, and it's better than what we've got now so I'm still all for it.

Really? See I'd heard he was. Numerous times he's stated how important the 2nd was to him. Maybe it was memes like this that made me think that though

If not, at least we still have the sons
