Over the last few years I picked up a LOT of bullets on sale and good buys from here and snipers hide. Buy when you see it and a good price. I probably had 3k 22lr before sandy hook, then started buying when I saw it and was priced right. I havnt bought any that I thought was out of line. Iv been paying $47.00 for bricks of CCI standard velocity.

If anyone's looking - just saw cases (many!) of Colibri, subsonic, and a bunch of other varieties of .22 at Sportsmans Guide. Prices were in line with what I'd expect on some of the goofier offerings, and not overly high on stuff like Federal Auto-match (it was a couple bucks more than I paid last).

Haven't seen an assortment like that in ages!

Looks like we could be out of the panic for real after 4 long years.

plant.one wrote:i wont lie, i pre bought some election anticipation stuff, but for 95% of it was consumables - mostly primers, some bullets and couple 8lb jugs of powder. I grabbed a few mags, which i also sort of consider consumables - at least to the extent that they DO wear out over time. i got caught with my pants down last go round on my powder stocks, never again!
Same here. I'm still having to try and use up some of the scalpers reloading components of not my preferred brands of powder from last crisis. But I at least have a supply of the good stuff.

10 1/2 " 300 Blk pistol barrel or AR-15 for sale @ $71.99 at Sportsman's Guide buyers club. I received a print specials in the mail from Sportsman's Guide. AR 15 chrome moly steel or pistol stainless steel. Non-member is $79.99 which still seems like a good price. Item number L6X 592752 for AR 15, L6X-619580 for pistol. 1:8 twist.

Brand name is Bergara. Never heard of them.

The add is a bit confusing. Since I'm not in the market for a barrel, I didn't call them. I'd suggest calling them for more details.

I don't think Bergara makes them anymore. They did try selling them for a while, and then I heard they pulled the plug. If that's still the case, then SG has their old inventory and when it's gone that's it.

Are these barrels any good? I might just get one for my next build even though I'm not in the market right now.

I don't have personal experience, but I've only heard good things about their stuff (Bergara, not SG  ).

I looked at their US website just now to see if anything had changed and they have 5 or 6 AR barrel offerings in .223 and 5.56 but nothing in 300BLK.

Sportsmans Guide has a history of buying remnants and surplus. It makes perfect sense that they'd end up with a crate of product an outfit wasn't going to market themselves. They do have a good reputation for taking stuff back, but they also have a long history of selling a mixed bag of quality. You want to be sure of what you're buying, because a lot of their catalog is known crap (usually priced accordingly).

Thanks, added. Do you have any experience with the 125gr listed on there?
