I've had a pair of these for awhile. They work very well. I wasn't expecting too much at this price point but they're really good. Not sure about how they'd compare against other models but I'm pleased with the ones I've got.

Thanks for the heads-up, chedr. I've been looking for another pair of muffs and decided to take a chance on these since the price was right and many, many good reviews.

My son bought me a pair for my b-day and they have worked well. I'll wait till the price comes down again and get him a pair for xmas...

Got a pair of those in my bag, great ear pro for most situations. They can't stop my 500 mag, but no single set of ear pro can, gotta double up.

NRR of 22db is pretty weak.
The PRO version is 30db but obviously more expensive $60

I have used the cheaper ones successfully by also having military-style plugs under the muffs. I have to do that anyway at indoor ranges, or outdoor ones with shed roofs, even with standard muffs, to make the noise bearable. With the electronic ones I can crank up the volume until I can talk to people, but it still cuts the noise just fine when we shoot.
