Hodgdon CFE BLK?

Sorry if this has been discussed before...I tried to search the forums, but since neither CFE or BLK are words, it won't let me.

Is this a new Blackout powder? I was looking at loads on the Hodgdon site, and CFE BLK came up as a choice for 208gr sub loads.

According to the data, 11.6gr under a 208gr amax in a 16in barrel with a COL of 2.26 should make 1041 fps, and generate 13,400 PSI.

I did a quick Google search, and didn't come up with anything on a CFE BLK offering, nor did I find anything on the hodgdon site. They do have a CFE 223, which made me think maybe this was a new 300BLK specific powder.

Anyone have any info?

Just looked at their site. Sure as heck has load data saying CFE BLK but if you look at all their powders it's not listed. Some things remain a mystery.

I sure hope so, CFE Pistol worked pretty good suppressed in my 9mm, almost as clean as N320.

Just found this too, I'm going to call my local supplier today and get the facts.

I have a good story about oops'es and marketing surprises, but I can't tell anyone yet !

You prolly didn't notice, but most of a thread over on the PM website was deleted, and edited cause I was accidentally sent something I shouldn't have received, and made several posts on this product.
