In clear ballistics gel when shot subsonic, this bullet begins to yaw
at 9" of penatration impact velocity of 1030 fps.
The 255gr fmj also has a relatively soft nose,compared to a match style open tip. It won't expand in gel, however it will break up on contact with rock,
Mild steel and soft damp earth, thus lowering the chance of ricochets.
