Data from a 10" SBR:
Avg. = 2,658
ES = 9.34
SD = 3.87
As far as the round being good for whitetail sized animals, I believe it would work very well out to 100 yards with any normal shot placement. A double lung would be fine, no need for a neck shot. In a double lung shot, tissue damage would be limited to the organs. Please remember there would be no exit and deer seem to cover some distance in seconds. With that stated, we have seen that the controlled chaos bullets in double lung placement have a much faster terminal outcome than a traditional jacketed bullet with a similar shot placement. The energy release of the CQ is even greater than the CC so the ten second run should not occur.
Hope this helps.

Just submitted an order for (4) boxes of the 78 grain bullets. Have to see what kind of velocity and accuracy I get with my 16" barrel. drayks

300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

darn, missed the introductory price on both ammo and bullets. Let me know how you guys do with them.

I probably missed it...was a BC listed?
Re: Lehigh Defense 78 Grain 300 BLK CQD Projectile
For the 9" guys. A quick QL calc, no promises on the accuracy, comes out to ~2607fps from a 9" barrel. That's calculating backward using 2658fps from a 10" barrel.

Be nice to have the bullet dimensions to play around with in QuickLoad.
