Sorry, missed one. The brass is made by Jagemann with a Lehigh headstamp.

Ponied up for two boxes. I would like to see this bullet offered as a component with load info at some point. Can't wait to give it a try!
You can't beat the mountain, pilgrim. Mountains got its own way.

This is a very interesting load and I'm curious to see how it'll do at 200+ yards.

I know this is intended as a CQ bullet, but how would this work for the hunters who do not want an exit wound on a deer? or possibly neck shots?

Any idea what the velocity would be from a 9" barrel???

x2 I just built a 9" AAC/Noveske SBR.
Re: Lehigh Defense 78 Grain 300 BLK CQD Projectile
I also want some velocity numbers. Thanks!

Waiting patiently on the bullets
Re: Lehigh Defense 78 Grain 300 BLK CQD Projectile
Not that I could afford the amount of ammo that would cause this, but is there any issues with barrel wear pushing the 300 BLK this fast.?
Jumping up the velocity of a bullet by almost 1,000fps is a pretty significant change.
For those that don't know what I'm referring to, here is an example:
In 308 Win, it not uncommon for owners to get 10,000 rounds out of a barrel if they are shooting ammo that is 2,600 - 2,750fps.
When a guy decides he is going to "optimize" his 308 Win and run 155 Grain Lapua Scenar bullets at 3,000fps +, barrel life take a significant hit.
The throat of the barrel essentially is being hit with a plasma torch...
Just wondering if a similar condition might exist in this instant.
One of the nice things about 300BLK is that the barrel life is pretty much a non-issue.

Not a very good analogy, comparison. A far better one would be loading a 110Vmax into the 308win, far faster fps and not nearly as rough on the throat like your over max'd 155 Lapua round at over 3K fps.
