Any user reviews or test results from these at 900-1050 fps? For $55/ 100, they sure look good, considering other options.

They look good. Any one use them yet ? I'm getting a subsonic hunting bug.

You'll have to wait- I just ordered the last 100 of the 220 AR expanding bullets to compare to the Outlaw State versions.randyrucker wrote:They look good. Any one use them yet ? I'm getting a subsonic hunting bug.

Out of stock, can you give an estimated return to stock?

Re: AR 15 compatable 220 Grain Expanding Bullets
I recieved 100 on Saturday and loaded 20rds and went to the range today, mainly for function check, did not do any accuracy testing.
loaded 10rds in Remmington Brass with 11.2gr of H4198, loaded the other 10rds in Hornady brass with 11.4gr H4198. All rounds feed from my Lancer L5 AWM 20rd Magazines and had no failure to feed or eject, Fired all rounds in 5rd strings, Also had Bolt hold Open with all 4 strings. I also played with COL, loaded half at 2.150 and the other half at 2.130 and 2.125", again no failures to feed.
I've pretty much settled on 11.2gr H4198, 2.130 COL. From what I can find in the manuals and from info in the Handloading threads, this load should be around 1000fps give or take. I want to try some water jug tests (poor mans Gel) for fun.
I did not have a Cronograph available.
I'll use a Cronograph when I Accuracy test.
Indoor Range, 25yds, standing, kept all rounds in 4" circle, I don't use a sig brace, Only sling pulled forward to stabilize Pistol.
My 300 Black Pistol Stats:
9" Barrel w/ Kaw Valley Linear Comp
LMT lower w/ Carbine buffer and spring
Semi Auto Bolt carrier group
Bushnell TRS25 Red Dot
So far I'm pretty Happy with these Bullets and will order more.

Could you post results on expansion vs speed. Web site has no info on lower threshold.
