That's cool! This is what we need. I probably won't buy much more than a box just to support the caliber due to the heavy bullet. It will have a significantly different trajectory than lighter bullets. If you don't handload, this would be great.
Thanks Fiocchi! More options is a good thing!

I grabbed 2 this morning as well to fill an order up to $150 to get the $15 discount, which pretty much amounts to free shipping. Not a bad deal, I mostly reload 147gr M2 pulls, so this should be right in line with those.
I'll have to research on here why they went with a 150gr bullet for their load, I would guess that it is also used in their other 30 cal loads and not a specialty bullet for 300 BLK. Soon it will be time to switch over to 125's for hunting season in 2 more months.

I presume cost played the largest role.
Very happy to see Fiocchi jumping in the game. Remington might have cut their own throats by ignoring us for so long.

Is this stuff just in stock, or does this represent a new player in the 300BLK ammo game?

I doubt Remington cut their own throats. I'm also sure this will be a regularly available ammo. RSlivers seems to welcome all comers to advance the caliber. He has a much better grasp of the industry and economics than I do so I'll follow his lead. He never screamed that the sky was falling even when there was absolutely no ammo to be had.
With as many people who now own AR's and a whole new group each time they start talking gun control, there have to be hundreds of thousands of AR owners out there to buy up ammo in several flavors. Most people get one AR and then want another one. People need ammo for that so that means profits to be made.

I've never had problems with Fiocchi ammo. I've shot a bunch of their .45s and they make a great little 2 1/2 inch shotgun spreader load that will make u look really good in a dove field.

If it shoots anything like their 204 ammo, it can't be all bad.

How is the .204? I have a box of it in 40gr, but no pdogs to shoot, so it's unopened.tbirdman74 wrote:If it shoots anything like their 204 ammo, it can't be all bad.
