I picked up a couple boxes of the new 120gr stuff at the local Wal-Mart.

I haven't shot any of it yet but, out of curiosity, I pulled one and took a look inside.

Powder is a grayish black ball powder that looks pretty much like H-110. It fills the case to right about the step in the shoulder. My little Hornady digital scale showed 18.2 grains of powder. The bullet is a flat based bullet with the shown weight of 119.9 grains.

Update- shot this today. 100 yards unsuppressed around MOA. Suppressed groups tightened. One 5 shot group dropped low with heating but was sub-MOA. Very pleased.

This stuff is very accurate in my 8.2 Noveske

It is more accurate than the Barnes 110g in my rifle.

I will be buying more of this

Went to 3 Walmart's tonight and they don't have this ammo or even a label and spot for it on the shelf. The Walmart's around me are still doing the 3 boxes of ammo max per customer per 24 hours.

The shelves at all three were pretty bare regardless of caliber. There was cheap .223 more than anything lol. So I guess no dice for me.

Was hoping to get some for shooting this weekend with the new upper.
