I just got done reading some other posts to avoid Gen 3 PMAGs and avoid 20 round PMAGs...go figure.
I purchased a colt 30 rnd metal a Gen 2 and gen 3pmag, no issues so far with any of them I must admit I do like the gen 3

I had an interesting experience yesterday.
I made it to Van road to get the T1 sighted in at 50 yds with 110 Vor tac
And to try my 168gr RL-7 handloads at 100 yards.
with a gen 2 20 rd P Mag I was getting severe vertical stringing.
switched over to a 30 C Products mag NO OTHER CHANGES shot a 1 1/2" group.

4 strings pmag half a ruler tall, one group C products centered no stringing.

I also had 2 different rounds with the Pmag that were chambered but the Boly did not lock onto them
just pushed them into the chamber and quit.
I just had to drop the mag, and slingshot the bolt both times.
I think the PMag out some drag on the rounds, the 110 fitted poorly in it.

and the 168smk, CCI 41 17.7load was too inconsistent, so I will up the loading
and try again.
I will also get some 10 rd C Products mags for range work

I have 5 - 20 round lancer magazines. I have no issues with the 690 rounds of ozark ordinance ammunition I shot with them.

Barrel change only.
And that goal may be obtainable once we have an abundance of bullets that were designed with that goal in mind. Until then...
i dont understand this comment. Are you saying that the .308 projectiles on the market now are not suitable for 300 BO handloading?

I dont understand how the magazine is affecting accuracy. Feeding, of course, but how would it affect it after it leaves the mag and is in the barrel waiting to be fired??
