300 BLK Tavor
On the IWI US facebook page someone asked, "Will there ever be a 7.62 barrel released for the SAR?" IWI said no, when asked about 300 BLK they said, "Good catch Jim. My bad. We are working on a .300blk." I think one way to encourage this is to like the hell out of that comment.

I hope they make a micro version as well
Re: 300 BLK Tavor
We need more ammo manufacturers, I'm starting to see .223 and 308 in stock at decent prices but no 300 blk

Re: 300 BLK Tavor
I am producing what I need now with minimal start up pain. Thanks to this board and in particular the reloading section. Seems my old RCBS reloading set that I got back in 1982 is still working....even the scale was in perfect shape thanks to having it in the original packing. I went the easy way on brass and purchased once fired LC brass and that is going to be the only type of brass I use. 1000 rounds of brass is enough to keep me happy for a while. My recommendation, bite the bullet and purchase a reloading set. The first couple hundred, after doing some testing with 5 recipes of 10 each, have fired perfectly! Not a single feed issue and very consistent and accurate!

Re: 300 BLK Tavor
Can't wait for a 300 BLK Tavor. I got to shoot one this summer in .223 for a few rounds. I really like the rifle. They are the most accurate rifle but its not a precision rifle. It's a combat rifle. For superior BLK velocites out of a longer 16" barrel, the bull pup design is a great way to go. I don't own one and didn't get to shoot enough to give it a full civilian review. I think with a little training, one can run one just as easily as a more familiar AR. One in BLK would be a great alternative to an SBR and is just a cool rifle. An FDE tavor in 300 BLK? Yes please.

He was responding to the post about no 300 blackout ammo being available. I got it, and what he said made perfect sense. we're all very happy for you, but i fail to see the relevance to the topic... methinks you posted to a thread instead of starting a new one...

Shot my buddy's Tavor and I like the accuracy, hate the trigger, absolutely hate it. Don't like the bolt catch either. I do like that my People manufacture and designed this rifle and it protects my homeland. But that bull pup trigger is atrocious. It isn't very light either. Accurate though. JMHO.

That's almost always a complaint of Bullpups .. Having to have a long transfer bar to pull the trigger you get either a hard pull or sloppy then hard breakSeventyfivefj40 wrote:Shot my buddy's Tavor and I like the accuracy, hate the trigger, absolutely hate it. bearing cause too much friction and guides just leave slop or bending of the bar
