Another thing I noticed about this scope. The manual on page 10 says one click = 1/4 inch at 100 yards and 1/8 inch at 50 yards. I have not found this to be true. What I am seeing is one click = 1/2 inch at 100 yards, 1/4 inch at 50 yards, and 1 inch at 200 yards. This is different from what the manual says. I looked at the turret and it sort of confirms what I am seeing. It says 1 click = 1/2 MOA. I am waiting on a response from Richard to confirm or deny this is true. Here is an image of the turret. Anyone else experienced this? It explains why my adjustments were so far off at 200 yards and 300 yards.

I believe the turret markings, not the manual, are correct. I made my adjustments based on the 1/2 MOA marked when I zeroed at 50 yards and it was pretty close. Hoping to get back out for some more range time this weekend though.

I guess I should stop reading the manual, it seems to have a lot of errors. Page 8 regarding holdover lines, page 10 regarding MOA adjustments. One of the reasons I bought this scope was the advertised 1/4 inch adjustments at 100 yards. That's what you need when trying to zero it at 300 and 400 yards. I don't like the fact that in reality one click is moving the POI two inches at 400 yards. Its hard to get a good zero when that is the minimum movement available. :|

Richard called me today and confirmed the scope is in fact not a 1/4 MOA scope. It is a 1/2 MOA scope. The website advertising the product has incorrect information and the manual is wrong also. So there you have it.

I was very excited by this scope and seconds away from buying one. I couldn't figure out which marks the subsonic numbers were corresponding to. People kept saying they were small and I realized they are specks, barely visible when blown up on a computer screen. Holy crap! That's unusable!

I was going to have babies with this scope.

Got my Leupold Mark 4 MR/T 1.5 - 5x Ill, 300 Blackout scope from Trading Place Gun Range. What a class operation they are running....great price, great shipping and yes, the scope looks very nice. Now just need to get it mounted up....I think I may get a lower mount for it. I like the reticle and I am sold on FFP versus SFP. I can't see myself trying to figure out stuff based upon what mag I am using....call me lazy. Anyone used these? http://buckeyeoptics.com/bu30ulpirima.html

For me the problem I had with those low rings was there was not enough room between the bottom of the scope and the charging handle. I had to charge it slow and methodical or my fingers would rap into the bottom of the scope. Personally I like a little higher ring set for clearance.

Faxon firearms 300 has a charging handle on the side. Won't be an issue

Looks like the 1-6x Primary scopes are in...I just got an email. I am going to pass as I like the idea of FFP. Thorne
