300BLK Ammo gauge

Post by Zapp »

I've made a loaded ammo gauge for the 300BLK. It is made with a chamber reamer, with slots on it to indicate min/max chamber headspace, as well as min brass length. They are useful for checking both the resized brass, as well as loaded ammo.

I've also made a modified version of the gauge that will allow you to see inside the gauge, for a better view of any problems.

The standard gauges are very similar in function to the gauges I make that are sold by Alexander Arms for the 6.5 Grendel, and .50 Beowulf. The slotted gauge is a new product.

I now have a website for these gauges:

Brads Warehouse is also a dealer for the 300BLK gauges, and has them in stock.

10-13-2013 We have both the slotted and standard ammunition gauge in stock again. I will be able to ship some out early this week. After that, we will be out of town for a few days. Email us @ [email protected].

This is also what I have been waiting for, since it checks loaded rounds.

Ideally it would be made to the SAMMI min chamber drawing.

Maybe AAC should manufacture the gauge?

It does look at the brass length according to SAAMI minimum. That is one of the slots on the face, the other slot is for min chamber headspace.

I am hoping to get dealers set up to handle sales over the long run. But short term, it helps to get some out to reloaders so people can see them working. I will sell them for a little while on here, shipped via USPS priority mail. Payment via paypal is probably the easiest way to do it. But if you would rather pay another way, we can work that out.

Naw, it is best to let others who specialize in this do it.

I'm all in now. I grew up three miles from your shop, but have been in Arizona since 1977.
