thats still about $8.40/lb. i know - extra $ for all the containers and all that... just using that as a benchmark since i dont buy 1/4 lb units.

i buy 1lb locally for around $6=$7

big country sporting goods sells the same propack as sportsmans guide for $50

if i wanna shoot small targets, i get 60ml (2oz) bottles on amazon on the cheap ($14/50 is what the last batch ran me) and then fill them up with a funnel after i mix. then we hang em by a small peice of string. its fun watchin ppl try to hit a bottle thats about 2¼ high by 1 ¼ diameter @ 100 yds.

Tannerite is made out of 95% of Ammonium Nitrate by weight and 5% of fine aluminum powder by weight.

You can buy 50 pounds of Ammonium Nitrate off of Amazon for $84 as "Instant Cold Pack Kit DIY 50 POUNDS".
https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Cold-Pac ... 675&sr=8-4
If your local farm supply will sell it to you that is even cheaper. The last time I bought some, about 10 years ago, it was $17 for 50 pounds but now you have to jump hoops as well as have it reported to local law enforcement.

You can also buy 2.2 pounds of aluminum powder for $26.
https://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Powder- ... 775&sr=8-4

So for $110 you can get 50 pounds of Tannerite.
