This seems like an okay deal on this Federal Power-Shok 120 grain copper ammo.

$5.00 off per box (up to 10 boxes) rebate

Ammunition Depot has the ammo on sale for $14.99 a box with $9.99 flat rate shipping. AD also has a Twitter special this weekend. The first 10 people that use the code “TREAT” get a percentage off for over $200 orders.

Typical Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Federal or Ammunition Depot!

I've read the ads but haven't seen any gel tests or user reviews yet.

WithoutRemorse has chronographed the loads for his short barrel thread.

He also did a hunting thread write up about a single deer hunt that he used the 6.5” V7 barrel and this ammo. I’m still trying to figure out how he ended drenched in deer fluids, but too polite to ask.

Happy to answer!

Gutted the deer, did a "good" job of dumping out the blood before the 1 mile hike back to the truck. Right before hoisting the buck on my back, noticed a little junk I wanted to rinse off the meat, used a little water from my canteen. The blood and water had pooled in a little pocket, which I found out after doing a firemans carry on the buck and the blood/water ran down my back.

Also, as I was military pressing the buck over the side of the truck (tailgate doesn't open), my hand slipped a bit and the buck fell on me, with my head plopping into the chest cavity.

It was at that moment I realized just how rusty I really was. Have been chasing big bucks the last couple years, ending up skunked. This year, not too proud to nail a spike and put meat in the freezer.

I'm going to try and email Dr Phil to find out his testing methods for minimum velocity threshold, see if it's something I can replicate. This ammo has been the most consistently accurate out of the various barrels I've tested for the article series published below. I haven't had enough Barnes 110 black tip to test with each barrel to compare, just Ammo Inc's Jesse James 110gr.

This ammo shoots 3" or worse groups at 100yds out of every Blackout I own. Even my usually extremely accurate Encore barrel.
