I wouldn't say Lancers are the 'gold standard' but they are nice mags. I have some of the 300 specific mags from both Lancer and Magpul. I would say they are both excellent quality.

I have also found pretty much every mag I own works well but I don't shoot any of the crazy heavy cast bullets yet. 220 is about the heaviest I have done. Up to that weight, I have had success with G2 and G3 PMAGS, G2 Hexmags, the aforementioned 300 specific mags, and an original Colt 20 round mag from the Vietnam era.

Thanks Flatliner, I just noticed that a lot of 300 blk operators like Lancers. I thought maybe 300 blk bullets function better in them due to the neck/heavier bullets and all that good stuff.
