Re: Forum upgrade notice:
Ok, thanks.... I'm assuming that's why the NEW POSTS link isn't working. It's odd because it seems it works like once a day for me. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong... Maybe I am...300Blk wrote:The search index is not complete yet.
Either way, thanks for working on it.

Re: Forum upgrade notice:
You know, if you really wanted to change the ordering of the topics in the general discussion area you still can.
Just change the board names to prepend them with a number. Like:
1 - Main Discussion Area
2 - New Product Announcements and Good Deals
3 - Competition
4 - Classified Ads
5 - Hunting Discussion
6 - Silencer Discussion
7 - NFA Topics
etc...

Re: Forum upgrade notice:
Can we exclude 'classified' threads from active topics page somehow when the search features are restored? Put it to a vote perhaps? Out of the 25 threads per page you see on the 'active topics' link... 18 or more of those will be someone selling a barrel, upper or brass.
Re: Forum upgrade notice:
I don't know how to do that. I asked a question on another forum, and no one responded, so it seems like no one knows.

Re: Forum upgrade notice:
Several functions won't work for me, such as the search; unread posts; new posts; or your posts.
Re: Forum upgrade notice:
Sadly, and with deep concern, it appears to me this site is dying.
I'm laboriously going through each sub-forum to look for posts, every day or every-other day. As I'm doing this, it appears there are DARN FEW new posts going up. I think with the failed search functions making it so hard to efficiently look at stuff, people are just walking away...

Robert,
Thank you for fixing the site to my liking. I know it must have taken a lot of work and I appreciate it.
