I bought mine from Dan C of http://www.inlinefabrication.com/, who - as far as I know - came up with this:
He makes some nice stuff and has an excellent way of devising elegant slutions to reloading, making it easier, safer and faster. The item featured above is Patent Pending.
Yesterday, I saw the product below:
http://www.hornady.com/store/Lock-N-Load-Light-Strip
I use and strongly support Hornady Products; however, I am VERY unhappy over this recent development.
Any thoughts?
AFAIK, this product has not been purchased from the guy or licensed.

You're right. Dan did come up with it a long time ago, and I'm sure he's pissed. I would be.
Inline makes a great product, and I support him.

Blatant rip off by hornady. Inlinefabrications products are top notch and the service is exceptional, I will no longer do business with hornady.
Oh ya, first post on this board, 300 blackout is my next purchase!

Re: Hornady LED Kit vs InlineFabrication's Original Product?
Here is my take without really knowing many facts.
As far as I know, Dan (InlineFabrication) is an American Inventor who came up with this (and many other) great ideas that not only contribute to a better reloading experience, but also makes it safer (as this particular product does).
Now I like Hornady. I have a LNL AP and I have many sets of Hornady dies. Their CS is easily as good as Dillon's; I like their products and sense of humor.
Without knowing all the facts, I won't boycott Hornady products as I think that would be premature.
Two things I can say:
1. I would NEVER buy this particular product from Hornady unless it's shown that they licensed it from Dan or had some type of agreement where he is compensated for his innovation.
2. I'll be watching this matter very closely, as I'm sure the entire industry will. I'd like to see it resolved where everyone is happy.
If any large corporation is able to take someone's creation without due compensation, where is the incentive for a guy like Dan to innovate?
Let's get all the facts, but also count this as:
Day 2

Since he was granted a provisional patent, I can't say for certain, but yes, I'd call it a decidedly probable outcome.
Ever come up with an original idea?
I did once; it died of loneliness.
