Funny thing is, I've got 100' of elevation change from East to West on my North 40 and it's not gradual so it's got hills. South 40 feels like walking a pancake even though there's 30' of drop across it. Most parcels in my area have no topography at all, so I'm thankful for the undulations I've got.

My place is the left side of the range. The right side is prick line-hunting neighbors.

No need to be jealous either. Drop me a line if you're in the area and you can come use it too. 8)

I got 20' from my french door to the dog lot! Makes wind tricky here. Your range will be great for getting a no wind zero with the trees that border it.

Sounds like a pain in the ass. 20' of elevation is a bitch in 3' of snow. :P

Thanks guys!

I'm just hoping we don't end up with eddies from the wind, but that's part of why I kept it at 60' wide. My forester wanted to go out to 100' so it would get more sunlight, but that's just too much open ground for no good reason.

I'll be putting flags out at the 100's anyway. Should be interesting seeing how the ridge to the West impacts the currents.

Your place will be at the top of my list if I ever get up that way.
