If anyone was wondering what's a 300 savage.....factory loads were kept lower due to the savage 99's weaker action.
Loaded to the same pressures as the 308.....little to no difference with light weight bullets
L to R
308 win, 300 savage, 7mm ihmsa, 223, 6br

I want to build a 6 br bad. I'm thinking more of a heavy hunting gun than F-class. I don't mind tight necks but I know there is a no turn version. What a ground hog rifle that would be.

Yeah you get spoiled shooting one. My 40x has a 1-8 .272 and 1-13 .262 neck Hart switch barrels..... Varget for both the 68'and 105's.

For anything other than BR competition just go ...."no turn"
