CMMG worked with Winchester, they already have AR's chambered and on display at SHOT.

In 125 years cartridge design is now full circle, instead of making bottlenecks out of straightwall cartridges, wildcatters are making straightwalls out of bottlenecks.
300 Blackout, not just for sub-sonics.

If my math is right, using the 350 as the parent would increase case capacity of the x40 (or Ham'r) by around 8%. That's roughly half of their respective increase over the BLK. I was joking, but maybe...

There's been a bit of discussion on it over here : https://thereloadersnetwork.com/2019/01 ... fications/

It looks like I would rather have .357 AR Max rimless, which is the same idea minus needing proprietary brass to avoid case head separations. You can start from virgin starline brass which has never had a shoulder put on it, so no stressing involved. https://www.starlinebrass.com/brass-cases/223-Basic/

I DID NOT KNOW STARLINE HAD SUCH A BEAST...

This is one of two places I could find a barrel. https://www.maddogweapons.com/store/c40 ... ducts.html

Don't know who if anyone makes dies for the purpose, but I imagine that a 9mm expander ball on a universal decapper + a .357 seating die should get you there.

i think reddington announced dies were coming shortly. so its only a matter of time before they're out there.

yea... its had my head turned for a 357 max rimless/357AR for a minute... its a solid idea from starline... way to go fellas! this brass is what origionally got me excited about thee 350 legend... i was like... whoooboy - we already got unlimited brass ready to go, just trim!

and then the letdown hit with the proprietary brass. i think a lot of people went 'well shit' when that little nugget got out :/

Make sure you read the fine print on the Starline brass. Almost anytime you have a “basic” case it will have no annealing done, including the body. It can be VERY brittle.
