Old eyes

Post by Thom »

I just started in the 300 blkout. I am almost 70. Had my eyes fixed twice. I am looking for information about scopes that give a clear view out to about 200-300 yards. Variable with the 300 blkout trajectory lines built within. Can someone get me started in the right direction?

Thanks,
Thom

I haven’t shot the Nikon scopes, but have heard good reviews on them.

My comment (I’m a bit younger but have cornea issues that f#@* up many reticles) is to get a reticle with a fine, definite aiming dot in the center, and to get a second focal plane scope so the aiming point stays small and crisp.

Second the Nikon 300 BLK reticle scope. Very clear optics and, unlike the First Focal Plane Leupold 300 BLK reticle, is highly usable.
