This is easy! Mexico was born out of revolution. The right to keep and bear arms was enshrined in the Mexican constitution. But, the government got corrupt and decided that it was detrimental to their health for the people to be able to resist. So they eventually hacked away at the right till it was practically gone. Now Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Good people with the right to defend themselves is analogous to white blood cells defeating disease.
