Same field, across the road however. Same rifle, different bullet though. Tried an 88 gr Berger FB High BC. At just around 75 yards, figured on more carnage. Thought about loading some 87 Vmaxes for this thing but.....there is no degree of dead. This one is definitely that.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact I shot this 5 shot group. Cloudy, light rain, no light on the target. Y'all remember I said that, no sunlight- overcast. It does make a difference. Outer bullet holes are from a 6x45 load I tried that sucked. My spotter begged me to stop because he was afraid I'd throw one in the 6BR group. That middle hole measures .047, 5 shots at 100 yards. I built it as a hunting rifle, think it might just work 8)
