Lol - 6 months after deer season I locate the missing "Box"

Post by triehl27 »

Of Course, as I am spring cleaning tonight, I locate the box I packed for deer season the I forgot to load in the truck.

Items Found
- 100 - 6x45 Deer Load
- 200 - 300Blackout Deer Load
- 100 - 308 Deer Load
- 50 - 300 Win Mag Load.
- 300 - 10MM Handgun Loads
- Various printed deer targets
- Spotting Scope
- NV Scope
- Chronograph
- Winter Gloves (Would have loved to have them)
- Hat (Yep needed it too)
- Handwarmers (Duh)

Thank goodness I keep a 5 round stipper clip of 308 and a 10rnd strip of 300 Blackout in my hunting pack. Spent a week out hunting and in the lull times I usually chrono and work load development,,, not last year. Thought for sure I had lost this box outta my truck or it was stolen... was really upset over it as I had so much time and ammo to test and record. Nope just ended up in the basement somehow.

Very happy tonight. 2 years ago I had someone rifle my truck while I was out walking a hill. Only thing they took was the 96rnd box of 308 loads I had for deer season. Left my with 4 rnds for the week, STILL got my deer and had 3 rnds to spare.

Glad I'm not the only one that considers a NV scope to be 'deer hunting/ scouting' material. But thermal works sooo much better.

I dont feel so bad about leaving my ear plugs at home and having to use cigarette filters as a replacement .
winstons taste good like a cigarette shood and they also help stop ringing in your ears .
