You can get subs to dive deep.
Then switch to supers on the way back to house and drop a pig.

Ok you have got to give more details. I mean more then just bullet type and powder, I want tactics explained
Yes, I am a Baptist, and yes I carry a gun. You might think I carry a gun because I don't trust God. Well you would be wrong. I have complete faith in my Lord. It is mankind I have no trust in
Re: Blackout fishing
That is awesome! Most of the good carp places around here are restricted to shotguns only unfortunately. But I know a stream with way too many pikeminnow, and they can get just about as big, can't wait to try it!

Re: Blackout fishing
talk about running your can wet huh?
back in the late 90's i had a buddy i used to work with up north near traverse city who got drunk and took his 30-30 salmon fishing with him one year lol. the betsie river split his property in two. so a mutual co-worker shows up to fish with him and hears gunshots out back. goes back to the river, find him in the middle of the river 30-30 on his shoulder and a pitchfork in his hands waiting for a fish to float down to him. he's drunker than a skunk with better than half a case of beer and a pint of rum in him, empty cans and dead salmon all over the bank. aparently he was shooting salmon as they swim over a shallow gravel bar 50 or 60 feet upstream of him, slinging the rifle over his shoulder and pitchforking them as they float downstream to him to toss them ashore. some peoples kids

Re: Blackout fishing
Nice fishing technique, unfortunately it isn't an option up here in NY, anything but a fishing pole isn't legal, even fingering fish is illegal!!!!

Leaving that one alone. What people do with their fish in the privacy of their own river is their business
