If ya miss'em with the rifle you could always rip off the scope and crown'em one.!! It's bout as long as the rifle.. I used 4.5-14's for groundhogs way back when and they worked great in open country. But they quickly became cumbersome in the woods.
Still trying to figure out what that perfect optic setup is..

The finish is the high gloss and the checkering is very nice.
Had the wife pick the color. Black and gold=steelers.
This build has been alot of fun. This weekend will be its first try at shooting groups.
